Every tasteful jewelry wardrobe demands the basics in Classic Pearl Design.
While there are the traditional lengths, traditional white color, traditional round shape, these have been more recently established as Classic Pearls.
If we were to research Vintage Style Pearls, we would find that popularity laid with Baroque (irregularly shaped pearls) due to their extreme beauty in depth of pure nacre. Their shape irregularity easily identified those pearls as genuine was only second in importance. The intense color & depth of nacre & character found in Baroque shapes was the #1 priority at that time - and continues to reign in popularity with European tastes.
Fine round white pearls, Classic Beauty, are gems of the Heavens - tears of angels as some folklore has it. But there is nothing more voluptuous than deep swirls of nacre glow & fabulous one of a kind character.
